This was a huge project but the pay off was even bigger. When we started, most every wall in this two story, four-bed cottage was a different color. Paint got us part way to our goal, but styling an entire house for sale on a shoe-string budget presented other challenges and a lot of fun. We repurposed some existing furniture and painted some more to allow potential buyers to see what these rooms could be, especially the office which before staging was used as a storage room/hidey hole for the cat. The shelving unit in the office was completely fashioned out of old planks and storage crates we scrounged up from the basement! The addition of a few new lights, chairs and curtains saw us come in under budget and just on deadline. And the house sold to new happy buyers. Mission accomplished!
